Fenerbahce will loan 21-year-old Turkish point guard Berk Ugurlu to Pinar Karsiyaka for one year.

Pinar Karsiyaka president Multu Atlug confirmed the loan with a post on his official Facebook profile.

This is a move that can be considered as a… win-win-win scenario for all three sides involved in it. In Pinar Karsiyaka Ugurlu will find the rotation spot and playing time he couldn’t possibly receive right now with Fenerbahce. He’ll get a chance to compete full time in the Turkish League and a continental competition such as the Basketball Champions League.

Meanwhile, the team from Izmir acquires one of the most gifted players of the “Nouvelle Vague” of Turkish Basketball and will gain much if his talents are put to good use.

For Fenerbahce the profits are long-term and potentially many since Ugurlu can return from Pinar Karsiyaka a completely different player next season and someone who can carry his load in the team’s extremely competitive ventures.
