This was a day of announcements for Besiktas that preserved a part of its core and added two new pieces in its roster.
26-year-old swingman Can Maxim Mutaf and 24-year-old power forward Samet Geyik are the new additions of the Turkish League finalists. They are both arriving from Anadolu Efes.
In the meantime, point guard Kenan Sipahi, 22, was rewarded for the last season’s services with a 1+1 contract extension. Same deal as 26-year-old center Sertac Sanli.
Besiktas will be competing in the 2017/2018 Basketball Champions League apart from the Turkish League.
