The Croatian forward has renewed his contract with the team for one more year. He first arrived to Venezia in 2013 and has made history with the club, becoming its greatest playoffs scorer with 351 points over the years, while he also counts more than 2,000 points in the Italian league.
In the 45 games in Italy last season, he averaged 12.4 points and 5.2 rebounds, while he dropped 11.2 points on average in 20 Basketball Champions League games as well.
President of the club Federico Casarin mentioned the following after the extension: “We are happy to have Hrvoje Peric with us for the 5th consecutive year, an important confirmation that the continuous growth of our project that has led in the last three seasons two semi-finals and a historic championship. Hrvoje is a solid player of great quality and reliability and we are happy to have him for the next season as well.”
