Looks like allowing offensive rebounds doesn’t necessarily mean a bad thing. Nanterre allowed CEZ Nymburk 21 offensive rebounds and still came up with a win, 81-72. Nymburk won the second and fourth quarter but that was not enough to protect their home court.
The Key: Nanterre 92 shot better from behind the arc (47,62%) compared to their opponents (27,27%) and that was one of the most decisive factors in the game.
The Star: Johan Passave – Ducteil was unstoppable with 20 points in only 16 minutes he spent on the court due to foul trouble.
For the losing side, Pumprla almost had a double-double with 8 points and 9 rebounds and an index rating of 20 but it wasn’t enough for the win in the first round of Basketball Champions League for the Czechs’ side.
