Tenerife has a reason to smile for the first time in this season’s Basketball Champions League (82 – 72) after failing to win in the first gameday. Ludwigsburg lost their first game of the season after an impressive show in their previous matches.
The key: Ludwigsburg was trailing almost from the first minutes. A 12 – 0 run at the start of the second quarter was too much for the Germans (partial score of the period 29 – 13). Adam Waleskowski (16 points and 5 boards) tried his best for the losing side.
The star: Tim Abromaitis was perfect from the field scoring 15 points (5/5 FG including three three-pointers), while Ponitka led Tenerife in scoring with 16.
