Aris was the first team to beat Nanterre this season, getting the 70-62 win. The hosts started the game better as they build a 46-36 advantage after the first half.
The visitors used the halftime break well as they were able to cut the lead just to one point (54-53) after 30 minutes of action by allowing Aris to score just 8 in the third period.
The Key: It was the defense in the last quarter that brought victory to the hosts. They locked their paint when it mattered the most as Nanterre was able to score just 9 points in that period.
The Star: Michalis Tsairelis led the scoring with 15 points for Aris.
Both teams now have a 2-1 record after three weeks of play.
