The Germans had no problems beating Karsiyaka at home 96-82. Oldenburg started the game on the right foot winning the first quarter 33-23 and holding onto that lead until the end.
It was all about the pace for the hosts as this was another up-tempo kind of game that they love. The team from Turkey didn’t have enough weapons to fight this battle tonight.
The Key: Scoring 33 points in the first 10 minutes of the match allows you to breath more easily. The high-scroing quarter was the key for the Oldenburg’s victory tonight.
The Star: Bryon Allen was hot tonight scoring no less than 21 points and grabbing 6 rebounds for the hosts.
For the losing side, Jarrod Jones had 13 points and 5 rebounds, but that was not enough for the visitors.
