The Turkish team had no trouble beating Hapoel Halon at home whatsoever. Pinar Karsiyaka was in control from the first to the last minute of the game as they won 98-91. The visitors had no proper response in defense for Karsiyaka’s “hot” offense, especially in the first half. The home team was able to score 51 points in the first 20 minutes of the game and they hold onto that to the end.
The Key: The hosts didn’t allow Hapoel to have second chances in the offense as the visitors had only 3 offensive rebounds.
The Star: David Kennedy had a double double of 24 points and with 10 rebounds, as he led Karsiyaka to this win. His partner in a crime was Dominic Waters who finished the match with 17 points and 5 assists.
Hapoel’s latest signing Glen Rice JR was great in his debut with 21 points and 3 steals but that was not enough for the Israelians.
Karsiyaka is now moved to a 3-1 record and Hapoel is still winless with a 0-4.
