Neptunas keeps Capo d’Orlando winless

Neptunas Klaipeda had no problems to beat Capo d’Orlando on the road 90-60.

It was an easy victory for the Lithuanians as they were in the charge from the first second of the game.

After the first quarter, they had 20-13 lead. They were able to extend that lead after the second quarter 43-28. The Italians didn’t have the energy to fight back as they suffered their fifth loss this season.

An offensive festival by Neptunas in the second half propelled them to a blowout as the final result was 90-60.

The Key: Neptunas was dominating in every aspect of the game tonight as they had 14 assists more, 22 points more inside the paint, 11 rebounds more, and their second unit scored 22 points more than the opponent’s one.

The Star: Renaldas Seibutis had 18 points on 6-of-7 shooting from the floor for Neptunas which was a game-high. Tomas Delininkaitis put up 13 points in just 14 minutes of action and Arnas Butkevicius had an all-around game with 12 points, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, a steal and a block.

Mirza Alibegovic nailed 15 points for the hosts, but that was not enough.

Neptunas jumped to a 4-1 record and Capo d’Orlando fell deep down to a 0-5.
