MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg defeated Elan Chalon 94 – 74 rather easily at home. The Germans improved to a 4-1 record with three consecutive wins while the French champions are now 2-3 in the standings.
The hosts were leading by a large margin at the half (45 – 29) thanks to a great first quarter. Nothing changed after the break and Ludwigsburg even increased the difference.
At the end, the Germans enjoyed a comfortable win. Lance Harris scored 14 points for the guests but τηατ wasn’t enough to fight for the game.
The key: The first quarter finished 24 – 9. A huge lead that Elan Chalon couldn’t overcome.
The star: Adika Peter-McNeilly led all scorers with 17 points and Johannes Thiemann contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners.
