CEZ Nymburk defeated Oostende 86 – 72 after a comfortable game at home. The Czech team improved to a 3-3 record while the Belgian fell to 2-4.
A high scoring game was played in the first quarter, (26 – 28). The hosts took control of the game in the second period to lead at the half by ten points (51 – 41).
The advantage increased in the second half and Nymburk enjoyed a comfortable win.
The key: Oostende was dangerous when they got easy points. The hosts improved their defense in the second quarter and kept things in check in the second half.
The star: Eugene Lawrence paced the winners with 18 points and 5 assists.
Tonye Jekiri flirted with the double-double finishing with 8 points and 10 boards for the visitors.
