UCAM Murcia moved up to a 5-4 record after beating Enisey Krasnoyarsk at home 82 – 77. This was their third win in a row while Enisey now stands at a 2-7 record.
The key: Clevin Hannah was just 2-of-7 from beyond the arc but the point guard scored a decisive three with one minute left to secure the victory (80 – 75).
Enisey responded in the second quarter to Murcia’s impressive start. Despite the reaction, they were still trailing at the half (44 – 43).
The game was tight for the entire second half with both teams taking small leads. Murcia dominated the boards and the last 10 minutes to achieve its fifth win in Basketball Champions League. Martins Meiers scored 17 points in his debut with Enisey.
The star: Ovie Soko’s 19 points and 9 boards and Sadiel Rojas’ 12 points and 7 rebounds led the winners.
