American guard Josh Adams is on the exit door of Anadolu Efes and fellow Istanbul club Besiktas is in advanced talks with him for a contract until the end of the season, according to Eurohoops sources.
If the negotiations progress to a deal and Adams signs with Besiktas then Efes is willing to cover a part of his salary.
Adams, 24, isn’t included in the plans of new Efes coach Ergin Ataman but Besiktas is highly interested in bolstering its ranks with him and present an even more competitive outfit in the Basketball Champions League and BSL.
In 15 EuroLeague matches with Efes, Adams averages 6.1 points and 1.9 assists in 15:45 minutes per game.
