There are three weeks of action left in the regular season of the Basketball Champions League. With 10 out of 16 places left for the next round, the stakes are high and every point and every play counts. Day 12 will be played as usual on Tuesday and Wednesday as teams are ready to go all in to claim their spots.
Group A
The program in the group A starts with Pinar Karsiyaka hosting UCAM Murcia in Turkey. Both teams are standing on a 7-4 record. Murcia is one of the hottest teams as they won the last five games.
On the same day, Dinamo Sassari is playing against Juventus Utena at home. The other two games in this group will be held on Wednesday.
Enisey Krasnoyarsk will be trying to take down Unit Holon in Russia while EWE Baskets Oldenburg will face AS Monaco. The Germans will have to play a perfect game in order to beat perfect Monaco.
Group B
Iberostar Tenerife and MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg booked their tickets for the next round leaving two places open in the group B.
Neptunas Klaipeda and Capo d’Orlando will play the first game of the Group B. The game is scheduled on Tuesday followed by the game between Elan Chalon and Ludwigsburg.
On Wednesday Ventspils and Gaziantep will play in Latvia and Tenerife is hosting PAOK in Spain. Both Tenerife and PAOK are in a good form winning their last three games in the Basketball Champions League.
Group C
AEK and SIG Strasbourg are standing on a 6-5 record at this moment in the BCL. These two teams will meet on Day 12 and game will take place in Greece. Both teams are coming from victories in their last games. The game will be held on Tuesday followed by the one played between Movistar Estudiantes and medi Bayreuth in Spain.
The top seed in the group and the team standing in the last place will meet on Wednesday as Banvit is hosting Rosa Radom. The Polish team grabbed only one win this season and it was against Banvit in the first leg.
Day 12 in Group C will be concluded with a game between Umana Reyer Venezia and Petrol Olimpija in Italy.
Group D
Only Besiktas Sompo Japan has qualified for the next round in the Group D. The Turkish team will play against Aris at home on Wednesday. The Greek team needs the victory this week as they suffered three straight losses.
Nanterre 92 and Telekom Baskets Bonn will also play on Wednesday.
The other two games will be played at the same time (18:30 CET) on Tuesday.
Stelmet Zielona Gora will host Oostende and CEZ Nymburk will play against Sidigas Avellino at home.
