Cez Nymburk prevailed over Sigidas Avellino at home 81-77.
It looked like this would be an easy game for the hosts as they built 12 points lead after the first quarter (28-16). However, the Italians bounced quickly with a good performance in the second quarter. They cut the lead to 44-40 after twenty minutes of action.
The Key: After allowing Avellino to comeback in the second quarter the hosts stepped up their game in the third period. They used halftime break well as they won third quarter 22-16 making a double-digit lead before the last period.
Once again Avellino was able to bounce back. With 2 minutes left in the last quarter, Nymburk was up by 2 points (75-73). First Petr Benda made a layup then the visiting squad turned the ball as the hosts sealed the deal.

Thomas Scrubb’s 24 points weren’t enough for Avellino.
