Banvit climbed up to a 9-3 record in the Basketball Champions League as they prevailed over Rosa Radom 74-64. The Turkish team has already booked their ticket for the next round while Rosa Radom lost all their chances last week.
The Polish team sank to a 1-11 record in the Basketball Champions League. Their only win was against Banvit in the first leg when they played at home.
Banvit built a 7-point lead after the first half (36-29). However, the visitors bounced back in the second half and in the end, everything was decided on details.
The Key: With four minutes remaining in the game Banvit was up by one (58-57). The hosts made a 9-0 run that sealed the deal for them.
The Star: Damian Kulig finished the game with 22 points and 9 rebounds for Banvit. Kevin Punter’s game-high of 26 points for Rosa Radom wasn’t enough tonight for the win.
