Nanterre got a 5-1 record at home in Group D, beating Telekom Baskets Bonn on Day 12 of the Basketball Champions League.

Nanterre 92 bounced back after a loss last week as they prevailed over Telekom Baskets Bonn at home 93-90. It was a close game from wire to wire as both teams gave their best.

With 2:20 left in the last quarter Nanterre was up by three points (86-83). The French team made a quick 6-0 run to close the game jumping to a total 8-4 record in the Basketball Champions League.

The Key: Deep bench often makes a difference and that happened tonight. Nanterre’s second unit outscored their opponents by 29 points (49-20).

The Star: Terran Petteway was the main force for the winning side tonight as he had 17 points. Julian Gamble had game-high 21 points and 6 boards as well, but that didn’t mean much for Bonn tonight.

After this loss, the Germans are fall to a 4-8 record as the playoff spot getting out of their reach.
