Elan Chalon ended their losing 4 games losing streak on the last day of the Basketball Champions League. They beat Gaziantep
85-60 at home and kept the sixth place that leads to the FIBA Eurocup.
The Key: It was the defense in the first half that helped the French team to win the game tonight. They allowed only 29 points in the first half building a 10 points lead.
The visitors from Turkey didn’t show a desire to come back in the second half as they ultimately lost the game.
The Stars: Lance Harris and Jeremy Nzeulie scored 16 points each for the winning side.
Not enough: Robert Carter’s 18 points and 8 rebounds were nowhere near enough for Gaziantep tonight.
With this win, Chalon moved up to a 6-8 record while Gaziantep finished the Basketball Champions League campaign with a 4-10 record.
