AS Monaco entered the second leg in the round of 16 with a 2-point advantage that they earned in Zielona Gora at the buzzer. The Monegasques didn’t hold their punches this time and defeated the Polish champions 90 – 60 at home.

After struggling defensively in the first quarter, Monaco received just 10 points to take a 50 – 31 lead at the break. D.J. Cooper was leading the Roca Team with 6 points and 6 assists in the first period.

The home side rolled over Zielona Gora and at the end of the third quarter (76 – 47), everyone knew which team was going to advance to quarterfinals. Monaco’s offense couldn’t be stopped until the last quarter.

Paul Lacombe had 18 points for Monaco (8-of-8 from two-pointers) while Cooper finished with 8 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds and 2 steals.

Lithuanian former EuroLeague champ with Olympiacos Martynas Gecevicius, who was the best player in the first leg, led the Polish side with 14 points.
