After winning in Turkey (65-79) last week, in a game that had it all, UCAM Murcia also got past Karsiyaka in Spain (81-72) and booked its ticket easily to the semifinal. The aggregate score of the two games was 160-137.
The 14-point deficit of Game 1 was too much for the visitors, even if they competed with Murcia in Game 2.
In the third quarter, the Turkish side went up ahead by six points (42-48), trying to challenge the 14-point deficit from the first game but it was too late. The contest was eventually decided in the fourth period as Murcia responded with a perfect run (10-0) thanks to Clevin Hannah 14 points and six assists.
Murcia had four players in double-digits as Brad Oleson (16 pts), Ovie Soko (15 pts), Clevin Hannah (14 pts / 6a.), and Charlon Kloof (12 pts) all scored 10+ points.
For the visitors, David Kennedy shined with 18 points.
A draw will be held in order to determine the semifinal pairings.
