AEK defends advantage vs. Strasbourg, goes to Final Four

AEK advanced to the Basketball Champions League Final Four after an 83 – 83 tie in the second quarterfinal against Strasbourg in France.

The Greek team had won the first match in Athens 78 – 69 and defended this advantage to punch its Final Four ticket by winning the series with an aggregate score 161 – 152.

Coach Dragan Sakota saw a lot of his players contributing substantially in this match. Kevin Punter scored 18 points while Mike Green had 12 points plus six assists. Manny Harris scored 11 and Vince Hunter 10.
