AS Monaco made it to the Final of the Basketball Champions League as they knocked down MHP Riesen Ludwigsburg, but a bizarre situation happened before the game.
Apparently, Amara Sy missed the team bus to the arena so the team needed to come back for their captain. After the game, Sy had an excellent answer to the whole situation.
“I will sleep at OAKA before the final“, joked the French forward when he was asked about the incident in the press conference and coach Zvezdan Mitrovic also had a proper response to the whole situation.
“He didn’t play for three months, so we got used to playing without him and he had to run behind the bus, or he took a taxi, I don’t know“, said Mitrovic with a smile before adding: “Amara is a great part of our team“.
