The 34 years old guard who started playing basketball in Olympiacos junior teams and was a part of Panathinaikos EuroLeague winning team in 2007 can be already considered the most iconic Basketball Champions League player.
In the first two seasons of the competition, Xanthopoulos never missed a game, having already 38 Basketball Champions League contests under his belt.
On top of that, he was the catalyst of AEK’s semifinal win with seven assists and added six more in the final.
