After spending a season with Iberostar Tenerife, Mateusz Ponitka decided to use the exit clause in his contract, per the team’s official announcement.
24-year-old Ponitka tapped 10.8 points, 4.7 rebounds and 1.7 assists in Basketball Champions League this past season.
Ponitka played a key role for the Spanish club during his stay, earning himself two Day MVP honors in the Spanish championship, in Day 4 and Day 11.
