Kevin Punter, 25 was one of the best players of AEK’s roster for the 2017-2018 Basketball Champions League season, as he led the team to the title, with an average of 15.0 points per game.
After signing a contract with AEK in February for the remainder of the season, Punter is a free agent, and thus teams have already shown interest in acquiring him. According to Eurohoops sources, Banvit has made an offer to Punter as an attempt to lure him to Turkey.
Earlier on Sunday, AEK Athens made it official that Luca Banchi is the team’s new head coach.
