Le Mans Sarthe Basket and DJ Stephens agreed on a deal which will keep them together for another year, the club officially announced.
The 27-year-old averaged 9.5 points and 3.1 rebounds in 20 minutes of play per game helping his team win the French League trophy after beating Monaco 3-2 in the Finals and earning the title of the Best Sixth Man of the 2017-18 season in the process.
Stephens tried to make a jump to the NBA multiple times but without success. He played three games with Milwaukee Bucks and in his debut on 29th of March 2014, he scored five points in addition to five rebounds in 12 minutes of play versus Miami Heat.
