The 29 years old Josh Owens is a Stanford graduate and joined Hapoel Jerusalem after a season in Turkey with the BSL runner-up Tofas Bursa.
In the past, he has also played for Hapoel Tel Aviv. Last year he averaged 8.6 points and 3.2 rebounds in the Turkish BSL and the EuroCup.
Hapoel’s coach Oded Katash said about the new addition to the roster: “I am very pleased with Josh’s signing. We want to add athleticism, aggressiveness and toughness to the front line and Josh is definitely the right player for me”.
