Zalgiris Kaunas will send Lithuanian forward/center Gytis Masiulis to Neptunas Klaipeda on a one-year loan, the club announced.
Masiulis, 20, is expected to receive more playing time in order to further develop his game with Neptunas. The team will compete in the Basketball Champions League, apart from the Lithuanian LKL League.
In the previous season, Masiulis played 12 games in EuroLeague, scoring 14 points in total. In LKL, he averaged 4.9 points plus 2.6 rebounds over 12 minutes per game.
Masiulis also participated in the NKL (Second Division) with Zalgiris Kaunas 2, where he notched 17.4 points plus 10.3 rebounds per game.
