Mitchell Watt scored game-high 25 points plus four rebounds leading the way to a 69-59 home win for Umana Reyer Venezia against PAOK.
The game started off fairly balanced but Venezia had an upper hand throughout the second period and went to the halftime rest with a 43-35 lead. Although PAOK tried to close the gap multiple times, the closest they got was to the four-point margin (57-53) and Venezia didn’t allow any surprises answering right back and securing the game.
Austin Daye and Marquez Haynes helped Watt with 13 points each while Andrea De Nicolao scored 11. On the other side, Yanick Moreira was the only double-digit scorer with 14 points.
