Tenerife was simply too good and got a 75-58 win on the road against Nanterre 92 without breaking a sweat. The game started with the guests leading 20-7 after one quarter and remain the same until the end.
Javier Beiran had 15 points for the winners, Thaddus McFadden had 11 and Belgian Pierre-Antoine Gillet scored 10 against the French side.
Haukur Palsson scored 21 points for Nanterre, but with the exception of the third quarter, the hosts simply couldn’t compete with the quality of the guests who have a 2-0 record in Group B of the Basketball Champions League, with Nanterre dropping to 0-2.
