Vince Hunter paced AEK to a great 80-70 road victory against Dijon this week and his performance was meant to be the best one in Basketball Champions League for Gameday 4.
The 24-year-old power forward/center posted 25 points with a perfect field goal, as well as 11 rebounds, adding up to 39 points of index rating.
“Anyone that wins a championship the year before, that’s a special moment for our team,” Hunter said to the BCL website. “We have a big target on our back and everyone is going to bring their best game against us.”
“We’re just trying to show people that we’re going to be a tough team to beat and we are the defending champions,” Hunter added. “We’re trying to repeat and have the same feeling we had last year.”
