Opava started hot and with one three-pointer after another reached a 23-8 score against PAOK. The rest of the Group B game of the Basketball Champions League was a total different story and resulted in an away win for the Greek team.
Ultimately, the visitors 16/30 three pointers were far more impressive than the 12/35 of Petr Czudek’s players. Phil Goss with 18 points, Ioannis Athinaiou with 17, Yanick Moreira with 15 and Vangelis Margaritis with 14 were PAOK’s top players. Jakub Sirina scored 14 for the home team.
Ilias Papatheodorou’s team is now at 2-3, while Opava fell to 1-4.
