Tuesday’s match presented no problems for Tenerife. The Spanish team got a 84-52 win over Hapoel Holon in a Day 5 match of Group B of the Basketball Champions League.
Tenerife got to a double digit lead before the end of the first quarter and reached a 35-point difference in the last period.
Javier Beiran hit four three-pointers and had 16 points totally, while Colton Iverson added 12 points, Sebastian Saiz 10 and Pierre-Antoine Gillet 10 more.
The Israelis only dressed nine players in Spain, only eight of them played. Darion Atkins was the best among them with 13 points and nine rebounds.
Txus Vidorreta’s team got to 5-0 in the BCL. Holon dropped to 3-2.
