Jake Odum has been a free agent since early August, but now found a team to continue his career. About three months after his departure from Nizhny Novgorod, the 27-year-old guard agreed with Promitheas. He will make his return in both the Basketball Champions League and the Greek Basket League.
Odum played in the BCL last year with Banvit. He remained a player of the Turkish club until November and finished up the 2017-18 with Nizhny. He previously played two seasons in Germany and began his career in Greece in the 2014-15 season with PAOK.
The Greek team’s injury list has been crowded since the beginning of the 2017-18 season. In this case, it was Langston Hall injury problems that made Promitheas take the market for a new guard. Odum is expected to be at Makis Giatras‘ roster for the rest of the Basketball Champions League and Greek League season.
