Bayreuth was impressive against Neptunas and strolled to a 102-78 win in the Basketball Champions League Group D match played at Oberfrankenhalle. Raoul Korner’s team created a double-digit advantage in the first half and continuously built on its lead in the second.
Adonis Thomas sank 21 points with 6/6 two-pointers and 3/5 three-pointers, while Hassan Martin scored 8/8 two-pointers on his way for 19 points and grabbed nine rebounds in his 31-effeciency effort. Jerai Grant posted 21 points and Tomas Delininkaitis 15 for the losing side.
The Germans got up to 3-4 after the 0-4 start in the BCL, while Kazys Maksvytis’ team dropped to 3-4.
