Siim-Sander Vene signed until the end of season with Fuenlabrada per the Spanish Basketball Champions League club’s announcement. The Estonian International is expected to debut with his new team on Sunday, when Fuenlabrada will host his former team, BAXI Manresa, in an ACB Regular Season Day 11 match.
The 2018-19 season is Vene’s first in Spain. He averaged 10 points and three rebounds per game with Manresa. He previously played in Italy, Russia, Lithuania, Germany and Latvia. Besides his ACB stint, he’ll bring his EuroLeague and EuroCup experience to the BCL.
Fuenlabrada finished the first round of the Basketball Champions League’s group stage with three wins and four losses. The team also has four wins in its first ten ACB matches.
