JDA Dijon grabbed a double-digit lead by halftime and didn’t let go until the end recording an 89-78 road win against CEZ Nymburk on Day 8 of Basketball Champions League. Both teams now hold a 2-6 record in Group C.
For Dijon, David Holston led the way with 20 points (5/5 triples) and eight assists while Alexandre Chassang, Obi Emegano and Ryan Pearson helped with 12 points each.
On the other side, Vojtech Hruban nailed game-high 24 points (5/9 triples) while Petr Benda and Bracey Wright added 12 points each.
Dijon had a 20-17 lead after ten minutes and kept going as they created a 51-37 advantage before halftime rest. They kept the distance after the break (71-60), and although Nymburk got close (76-71), the French team got back the double-digit lead quickly and secured the game.
