Malcolm Griffin was instrumental in AEK’s away win against Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem on Tuesday. He poured a season-high 25 points on Tuesday on his way for a 34 efficiency performance. The BCL title holders notched their seventh straight Regular Season win, while the 27-year-old point guard took home Round 8 MVP honors.
AEK was represented on the MVP of the Week table for the second time during its 2018-19 campaign. Vince Hunter grabbed the Round 4 honors. Griffin also brought an American color to the title for the sixth time this year following the example of Hunter, Norris Cole (2), Austin Daye and Julian Gamble.
