In a game full of ups and downs, CEZ Nymburk played the best when it was most important and recorded a 78-71 home win against Lietkabelis on Day 10 of Basketball Champions League. Both teams now hold a 3-7 record in Group C.
Only three players scored in double-digits as Jaromir Bohacik led the winning charge with 20 points while Eugene Lawrence followed with 16, and for Lietkabelis, Jamar Wilson scored 18 points.
Lietkabelis held the early 26-19 lead but Nymburk won the second quarter 18-6 and went on the halftime rest with a 37-32 advantage. Although the guests managed to take back the lead in the third quarter (47-39), they couldn’t hold it until the end as Nymburk recovered and with an 11-2 run marched to victory.
