James Feldeine and Amar’e Stoudemire partnered up and led Hapoel Yahav Bank Jerusalem to a convincing 92-72 home win over Telenet Giants Antwerp on Day 10 of Basketball Champions League.
Feldeine nailed 20 points (all of it in the first half) followed by Stoudemire’s 18 in addition to Tamir Blatt’s 14 points and eight assists. Josh Owens registered a double-double with 11 points and ten rebounds.
For Antwerp, Ismael Bako and Jae’Sean Tate scored 12 points each while Dave Dudzinski added ten points and 11 rebounds.
After a fairly balanced first quarter (25-22), Hapoel went ahead 54-42 before the halftime rest and kept going after the break leading by as much as 28 points (82-54) and closing the game in their favor.
Hapoel improved to 8-2 and confirmed their presence in the playoffs while Antwerp now stands at a 5-5 record in Group C.
