PAOK strengthened its Basketball Champions League and Greek Basket League roster with Johndre Jefferson. The 31-year-old American center signed with the Greeks until the end of the 2018-19 campaign per the club’s announcement.
Jefferson started the 2018-19 season in Croatia with Cibona averaging 8 points and 5.5 rebounds in the ABA League. However he was released a couple of months ago. He previously played professionally in Italy, Turkey and Slovenia.
PAOK added much-needed firepower to its frontline ahead of its three last BCL Regular Season games. Ilias Papatheodorou’s team is in the hunt for a playoffs spot with six wins in its first eleven matches.
