Telekom Baskets Bonn was trailing most of the game against Umana Reyer Venezia but stayed close and grabbed the opportunity in the final minutes for a narrow 73-69 road win on Day 12 of Basketball Champions League.
Bojan Subotic scored 16 points for Bonn followed by Anthony DiLeo’s 12 and Joshua Mayo’s 11 points. On the other side, Deron Washington had 17 and Mitchell Watt 11 points.
Bonn stayed alive in the playoff race improving to 5-7 in Group B while Venezia will have to look for another chance to secure a spot as they stay at an 8-4 record.
