Bonn needs many more results to fall its way, but kept its Basketball Champions League playoffs hopes alive taking down Hapoel Holon, 91-83.

James Webb III scored 11 points in the first half of the Regular Season Group B Day 13 match and finished with 17, also grabbed 14 boards en route for a 32 efficiency ranking. Guy Pnini had 16 points for the losing side.

Chris O’Shea’s club saw its 17-point lead trimmed to one point, before creating distance with a 13-0 run. The visitors cut in their opponent’s lead again, but never really endangered Bonn’s rise to 6-7. The winners now hope Fribourg Olympic beats PAOK tomorrow, to play for a Round of 16 ticket next week.

The Israelis stayed close in the first half hitting 10/14 threes. Their 71.4% eventually dropped to 50% and their BCL record to 7-6. However, Dan Shamir’s team gained the tiebreaking advantage over the Germans.
