It was a fairly balanced game but SIG Strasbourg went ahead early in the fourth quarter and then managed to ward off Bologna’s comeback for an 83-80 home win on Day 13 of Basketball Champions League.
Mardy Collins led the victors with 20 points while Youssoupha Fall notched a double-double with 11 points and 17 rebounds. For Bologna, Kevin Punter nailed 22 and Pietro Aradori 21 points.
Strasbourg improved to 7-6 keeping themselves in the playoff race while Bologna still holds the first spot in Group D with a 9-4 record.
