Janari Joesaar will move to Spain to play for Tenerife. After his NCAA career, the 25-year-old Estonian forward returned to his country to start his professional career. This will be his first stop outside of Estonia and his first chance to play in a European club competition, the Basketball Champions League.
His former club Kalev/Cramo Tallinn announced that the Spaniards bought out his contract. The Estonian team added that the player himself wanted to continue with Tenerife when informed of the offer made.
The former Ole Miss forward averaged 8.9 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.2 assists in the VTB United League this season. He also had 11.2 points in the Latvian-Estonian Basketball League during his second campaign with Kalev.
