Ahead of the Basketball Champions League playoffs and the late stretch of the LBA Seria A Regular Season, Virtus Bologna agreed to terms with Mario Chalmers. Sportando reported on the deal between the Italian club and the 32-year-old American point guard.
Chalmers last played for the Memphis Grizzlies during the NBA 2017-18 Regular Season. In total, he took part in 745 NBA games from 2008 when he was the 34th pick of the Draft out of Kansas. In 2012 and 2013 he was crowned champion with the Miami Heat.
Virtus is seventh in the Italian League with a 10-9 W-L record. The Italian team also competes in the BCL and will face Le Mans in the Round of 16 stage.
