PAOK Thessaloniki forward Jamal Jones will have to undergo season-ending knee surgery. The news arrives just a day prior to the team’s Basketball Champions League playoffs vs. defending champion and fellow Greek side AEK Athens.
Jones has been out with a problem with his right-knee cartilage. Initially, the player went through conservative treatment but it has been decided that he will need to be operated.
Recovery time will take 3-4 months and this means that Jones won’t play any other game this season.
Jones averaged 6.5 points in the Basketball Champions League and 7.7 points plus 3.1 rebounds in the Greek League.
