AEK opened the game with a 28-4 run and although PAOK recovered, AEK still registered an 84-75 road win in their first clash in Basketball Champions League Round of 16.
Vince Hunter shot 10-13 from the field on his way to a double-double of 20 points and 12 rebounds. Dusan Sakota added 16 and Howard Sant-Roos 14 points.
For PAOK, Antonis Koniaris scored 18, Milenko Tepic 15 and Johndre Jefferson 12 points.
Their next game is scheduled for Wednesday (13/3) as AEK tries to finish things up on the home court.
