Hapoel Bank Yahav Jerusalem had a strong 14-2 start of the game and despite a few ups and downs recorded an 86-74 road win over Neptunas Klaipeda in Game 1 of Basketball Champions League Round of 16.
James Feldeine scored 17 points while Da’Sean Butler added 15 points and eight rebounds. Tamir Blatt registered a double-double with 11 points and ten assists.
For Neptunas, Tomas Delininkaitis scored 16 and Lorenzo Williams 14 points.
Game 2 will be played on Wednesday (13/3) in Israel as Hapoel tries to finish things up in front of the home crowd.
