The 2018-19 season Basketball Champions League awards that took place this Saturday gave the stage to the big protagonists of the season. In this case, one has all the future in front of him, while the other made miracles happen from his bench.
Tamir Blatt (photo), son of the coach David Blatt, was named the best young player of the competition. Blatt was a key member of Hapoel Jerusalem, while also being a potential starter in the Israeli national team.
Also. Roel Moors of Telenet Giants Antwerp got the coach of the year award. Moors led his team from the qualifying rounds to the Final Four of the competition, making history on the way for himself, the club and also Belgian basketball.
